What makes Thredbo a different purchase is its location, firstly Thredbo is in the heart of the Kosciuszko National Park. The National Parks and Wildlife Service administers the lease area on behalf of the State Government, the landlord to Kosciuszko Thredbo P/L, KT, who is the head lessee.

You, the individual property owner are therefore a sub lessee of KT. KT are your "local council", and provide all municipal services including water and sewage for an annual "bed license" payment.

Over the past 15 years we have seen Thredbo grow not only as a ski resort with vast amounts of infrastructure in the 90's but as an "all year round resort" that initially grew with the summer Jazz and Blues Festivals and more recently with the CMC Music and events like the Snowy Ride charity event held every November.

More recently every property in Thredbo had it's lease renewed for a further 50 years and reached the Thredbo bed limit ( the maximum number of beds allowed in the village )as set down by the State Government.
